Butterfly sympathy card.

Hi everyone, I've been on a blog break trying to get a few things up to date!
Still a few things to do but I'm getting there! I'm glad to be back and thought I'd start with a few things from my bits box.

The butterfly was stamped, embossed, fussy cut and coloured with inktense pencils and a waterbrush. Distress inks were sponged onto the leaves with a finger dauber.

The woodgrain panel is really subtle as it's made with an impression plate.

I love the font on this sentiment, its from Happy Little Stampers Doodle Flowers set.

I'm linking up to a few challenges.

At Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge, it's anything goes watercolour and I've gone with the optional twist of a butterfly.

At Simon Says Stamp Wednesday it's anything goes.

At Addicted to Stamps & More it's also anything goes.

  1. Those green leaves really pop against that woodgrain background. I like the woodgrain done in white and it's the perfect backdrop for the leaves and gorgeous butterfly.
