Embossed butterfly and oxide inks.

Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I'm alternating between housework and card making so I'm happy!

I was inspired by the photo at Inkspirational for this card.

I'm not a big coffee drinker and don't have any coffee stamps, but thought I'd go with circles, the butterfly and the gorgeous browns.

I embossed the butterfly diecut with some new powders I bought, Lindy's Stamp Gang cafe au lait (sounds like coffee lol!) and midnight bronze. I used versamark to get the powder to stick.

The circle was inked with distress oxides in antique linen and walnut stain, and walnut stain is on the circle border too. I sprritzed the circle with water and got a frothy coffee look! I dried it and embossed with a dot matrix folder for a bit of texture.

The sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers mix mash set and it's embossed with the cafe lait powder.

I'm linking up to a few challenges.

At Less is More the team is celebrating their 7th birthday with a dry embossing theme.

At AAA Cards it's diecuts only, although stamped sentiments are allowed.
I hope the dry embossing is ok on the diecut.

At Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Challenge the theme is butterfly.
My mixed media elements include wet and dry embossing, stamping, diecuts, oxide inks and vellum.

At Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, the theme is grunge it up.
I've distressed and spritzed the circle element and have given the butterfly a patchy grungy look with the combined embossing powders.
