Hi everyone, been a busy few weeks traveling and training for work so I am glad to finally relax in the craft room!
I've been wanting to play along with quite a few challenges and have missed the deadlines so I'm on a mission now lol!
The theme at CAS Mixup Card Challenges is to use alcohol inks as one of your components.
I had some scraps of metal sheet in my snippets box that I diecut and pounced some alcohol inks on.
I used a purple, a yellow and an orange. I thought some tropical greenery would suit these colours.
My other elements are diecutting, distress inking to colour the greenery and dry embossing.
I'm also linking up to the snippets playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop. You only need one snippet to play along.
At AAA Cards the theme is summer fun. Time is nearly up so get in quickly if you want to play along!
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday want us to add a sentiment.
and at Happy Little Stampers anything goes with dies, it's anything goes.
Supplies:
Papertrey Ink woodgrain embossing plate; Spellbinders circle, Memory Box Fancy Flowers and MFT Wild Greenery dies; metal sheet; distress inks; alcohol inks; Stampin Up Whimsical Words stamp; versafine ink & clear ep.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x
