Hi everyone, I'm having a restful weekend in the craft room.
It's been such a busy week at work that housework can wait lol!
Edited to add: Just had a request to make my pic bigger so I hope it's not too big now :)

This tag was made from a texture paste disaster! (I'm afraid to admit I never throw anything out.)
I diecut an area on the card that was ok and blended on some distress oxide inks. I spritzed with water until I was happy with the colours.
The butterflies are stamped, embossed and fussy cut. I chose yellow and grey inktense pencils that matched the background pretty well and blended the colours out with a water brush.
The edges of the bottom tag are painted with pewter twinkling H2Os then brushed with iced spruce oxide ink, just to tie in with the colours since white was too stark.
The theme at CAS Mix Up Card Challenge is to use texture paste .
I've also used stamping, watercolouring with DO inks and inktense pencils and fussycutting.
At Addicted to Stamps & More the theme is to make your mark.
I've used inks and inktense pencils.
At Seize the Bithday it's anything goes birthday.
Supplies:
Antique Engravings butterfly stamp, versafine ink & clear ep; iced spruce & fossilized amber distress oxide inks; sienna gold and charcoal inktense pencils; Tim Holtz dot fade stencil; antique silver crackle embossing paste; pewter twinkling H2Os; sentiment sticker and brad from stash.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x
