Hi everyone, I'm back with the card I made from the leftover infusions and paint from my last post.
I smooshed the panel through the leftover colour a number of times and manipulated it so the brownish tones dripped where I wanted them. In real life it looks a bit like faux marbling.
I'm linking up to a few challenges.
At Happy Little Stampers Watercolour the optional theme is smooshing.
At Addicted to Stamps and More the theme is make your mark.
I've coloured the butterflies with Inktense pencils.
At Seize the Birthday it's anything goes.
At Work it Wednesday the theme is to use the colour green.
Edited to add: I'm also linking up to the CAS Mix up Card Challenge where Loll, Bonnie and the the team are celebrating their 1st birthday, Congratulations!
In addition to stamping and smooshing, I've used fussy cutting and dry embossing.
Supplies:
PaperArtsy pearl glaze and infusions - a little bit jaded; Finetec gold watercolour paint; Hero Arts antique engravings butterfly stamp; versafine ink & clear ep; Inktense pencils; sentiment sticker; Darice crackled embossing folder.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x
