Brushos tree

Hi again, this is another brushos panel that I've diecut. Here's the original sheet. It's amazing that all of these shades came from only one pot of colour, light brown.

I muddied the colours a bit by misting with a gold spray after I'd finished spritzing with water.
It does have a lovely sheen although it's hard to see once diecut. I have enough left to do another tree and some leaves. The border on the base card was inked with Delicata copper ink.

I'm linking up to these challenges:
Outside the Box  has a Memory Box trees theme.

AAA Cards has an Autumn theme.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday has a die crazy theme.
I've used Memory Box Arboscello Tree and Impression Obsession letter dies.

Memory Box Arboscello tree die; Impression Obsession letter dies; Brushos; watercolor paper;

  4. Fascinating how many colors you get from just the light brown! That tree looks great cut from your panel - perfect for fall (which is the season in our part of the world officially today - not yours...you are heading into spring)!

  7. Love the texture of the background and loving those brusho effects. It's great, isn't it to have some left after spraying a sheet to use later? The colour combination is gorgeous and so effective.

  15. So pretty - I can't believe that all those colours came from one pot! My order of Brushos just arrived this week so the brown will be one of the first colours I pull out now! I really like the texture of the background - it complements the die cut perfectly! Thanks so much for playing along with us at AAA Cards! Jill
