Bushman silhouette


Hi again, I'm playing with some new stamps and inks.
I tried versafine onyx black on this solid stamp but I think my ink pad may be getting worn out as it stamped splotchy! I was happier with this image stamped using Ranger archival ink.

I used some snippets of black and orange card to layer the image so I'm visiting the playground at

    Super card Cathy - perfect for a chap! The silhouette is stunning against the beautiful background.

    There's been some discussion about stamping using solid stamps over at Kate's blog - http://manualidades-mamapez5.blogspot.com.es/2015/08/rudolph-day.html

    I'm not sure of what is a perfect solution though - it seems to be trial and error :)

    Another awesome silhouette against this sunset background. The glow around the cowboy is stunning. I find these silhouettes sometimes don't always give a crisp stamping...even with Versafine. The Misti helps me a little bit with that. Sometimes I think it is the stamp rather than the pad - which I always blame. But this one looks really good with the 'look' you've got for this fella. These stamps are really nice motifs! TFS
