Hi everyone, I made this card up from some leftovers on my desk and thought the flower looked more summery paired with purple rather than black.
I'm linking up to a few challenges:
At Simon Says Stamp Monday the theme is summer.
At CASology the theme is pop. I'm going with a pop of colour.
At Addicted to Stamps & More it's an anything goes theme.
At Allsorts the theme is how does your garden grow.
Supplies:
Memory Box tilth floral and Spellbinders square dies; Kuretake watercolour paints & Finetec gold paint; sentiment sticker; foam tape.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

Gorgeous summer bloom. I love your color combo! Thank you so much for playing along with us over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog this week :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Cathy ... such yummy rich colours with that gorgeous gold! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my all time favourite dies - love the colour choice - you're right about the purple! So glad you joined us at CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteCathy, I LOVE your color combo (have friends in the Red Hat Ladies) and even before I heard of the Red Hats, I loved the colors paired together. The gold shimmer around the edges of the pink petals looks really cool popped over the purple block, and the entire floral image just shimmers & glows. Perfectly done with this inlay technique too! TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous flower, and you made a good call with that purple background.
ReplyDeleteA really elegant card for our How Does Your Garden Grow theme at Allsorts this week Cathy, many thanks for joining in.
