Hi again, I'm trying to get lots of jobs done around the house these school holidays but I've been playing in the craft room instead! I'll start ticking things off the list tomorrow!
I die cut the butterflies from another of my experiments with brushos. Here's the sheet.
There's only grey powder sprinkled on here, spritzed with water and then when dry, some perfect pearls sprayed on. It's amazing how many colours make up the grey!
I didn't used this sentiment in the end as I wanted to link up to Inkspirational
where the theme is note.
I thought hello was a good starter for note cards.
The hello was cut from a scrap of black card so I'm also visiting the playground at
Supplies:
Watercolour paper; brushos; perfect pearls spray; Memory Box butterfy die; Simon Says Stamp sentiment die; Kaisercraft denim pearls; Cuttlebug tiny bubbles embossing folder.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

ReplyDeleteI also clicked for a close up of the butterflies, the effects of the brushos is fantastic. Beautiful designs, what a great idea to use the sheet that you cut your butterflies from. Have a great day, crafting is more fun than housework :) Shirleyxx
ReplyDeleteI don't know what Brusho is, but I need to find out. These butterfilies are gorgeous. Love that touch of copper(?) that it made. Really pretty card.
ReplyDeleteLOVE my Brusho crystals and I LOVE the background you've created as well the finished card. Brilliant xxx
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Mxxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat card and a great way to use up your experimental papers.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Cathy! I like how the textured white looks against the smooth white and your butterflies turned out wonderfully! Love the clean look here. It is wonderful having you join us at Inkspirational!

WOW! Just saw you are a prize winner at The Playground, and hopped over to be astounded that you are using Brusho-s. (which I've just had the courage to try for the first time!). This product made 2 very lovely cards for you, and I'm inspired to try what you've done here. My recent foray with brusho-s was very limited, but I spritzed the paper first with a pearlized color. Will be trying what you've done with using the pearl spray after the color dries. Love that you were able to use both the positive & negative results of your brusho background. Great job!!! TFS & Hugs
