Butterfly and tag layers

Hi again, I've had the top layer of this butterfly sitting around for about a week and finally got to use it in a card tonight.

The top is die cut from card painted with twinkling H2Os and kindy glitzed, while the bottom is cut from vellum and painted with the same twinks.

I hand cut a tag from white card and embossed it with PTI's giga guide impression plate. I cut another tag from vellum, inked the edges with versamark and embossed in silver. You can just see the embossing on the tag under the vellum, it looks better in real life. There are a few tiny pieces of double sided tape holding edges of the tags together.

The base card is embossed with PTI's woodgrain impression plate.

I'm linking up again to a few challenges:

At Addicted to CAS  it's vellum.

Inkspirational has a colour challenge.

At the Butterfly Challenge, Mrs A's theme is to use a butterfly and a tag.

Allsorts has an embossing theme.

Supplies:
Papertrey Ink Giga Guide & woodgrain impression plates; Memory Box Darla & Vivienne butterfly dies; vellum; versamark & silver embossing powder; twinkling H2Os; kindy glitz; pearl bling; sentiment sticker; silver cord.

Thanks for visiting,
enjoy the rest of your weekend,
Cathy x

  11. Cathy, this is so pretty and shiny. That is a soft, sweet butterfly on a pretty tag. I'm catching up and your last three cards are great. I love the orange flower card as well. That candle die is really pretty and so versatile. The new spellbinders embossing folder is really deep and your butterfly on that card is so realistic looking. Great cards all.
