Fishing Lure

Hi, I was experimenting with this card.

I used a wood grain impression plate as the grain looked like ripples in water to me.
I need to do something else with the inking as the border between "land"and water is not quite right. Anyway, it was fun!

The fishing rod and hat were stamped on scraps of card and fussy cut. The lure is a 3D sticker from Jolee. I attached the piece of fishing line behind the lure and at the end of the rod with glossy accents.

I'm linking up to Pixie's Crafty Workshop where all you need to enter is to use a snippet or scrap in your project.

At Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge the theme is anything goes.

Materials used:
Inky Antics fishing stamps; Versafine ink and clear embossing powder; tombow markers; PTI impression plate; distress inks; Jolee sticker; sentiment sticker from stash.

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

  14. Cathy, a perfect masculine card. That EF is superfine as water...I could almost see the bubbles in the swirls as that fly landed on the water. A wonderful design layout and beautiful colors too. Great card. TFS
