Inky peacock

Hi, I hope everyone is having a relaxing Easter break. I've been catching up on sleep and housework!

I bought this stamp a little while ago as I've always been fascinated by peacocks.
I'm going to link up to a few challenges.
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge has a winged things challenge, while at
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge the theme is animal antics.
At Addicted to Stamps & More the theme is anything goes.
At Allsorts Challenge Blog the theme is birds and feathers.

Materials used: Inkadinkadoo stamp; gold versacolor ink; Jade pearl lustre embossing powder; distress inks; twinkling H2O's.

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

  5. Cathy, sorry I've been MIA in visiting. Just Life getting in my way. Zipped out tonight to see what was going on, and WOW is all I can say! I'm loving THIS peacock, but I saw the gold embossed one, and it is DOUBLE WOW! I'm really liking that gold with the Twink H20. How very striking it is, and you did a wonderful project with it. I liked the painted one very much as well, but that gold emboss sent that peacock into Orbit. Well done. TFS, Happy Easter & many hugs. I will get back to enjoy those cards I've missed.

  20. OMG!!! I have an A4 sheet of Graphicus Peacock stamps (aka Chocolate Baroque) and I have been playing with them for a few years but was never happy with the colours so they rarely made it onto a card. The colours on this one and the gold one are what I have been trying to achieve but have only just realised it - thank you Cathy I am going to try again with those stamps and be more daring! Absolutely gorgeous Karen xx
