Hi, I had a lot of fun making this card, it's so sparkly!
I used the Memory Box small circle burst die to cut a shape in some linen card stock. Then I cut one each from bronze and gold glitter paper. I stuck a small square of copier paper behind the linen card and then replaced the snippets, gluing them in as I went.
I die cut the 21 using the Memory Box Parker number set, and the sticker sentiment is from my stash.
I'm going to link up with a few challenges.
Addicted to CAS has Glitter as a code word, and
CAS-ual Fridays, theme is Count Me In, to add a number to your CAS creation.
Using snippets means I can visit the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop, and at Seize the Birthday its a month long Anything Goes, as long as it's birthday, celebration.

ReplyDeleteWow Cathy, fabulous card. I love how you've used the little pieces from other sparkly paper/card to infill the die cut holes. Great result!

Awesome! I bought that die after seeing you use it in an earlier card. This one is just as fabby I think. Liked the way you did the diff colors around the circular image. Your recipient is gonna be blown away by this one! Really great card. TFS
ReplyDeleteYou, Cathy, are now insane. Your card is beautiful, but I'm sure you've gone round the bend because of it. Does your family know why you are sitting in that chair just staring ahead with your fingers all glued together? I think I'm going to start some kind of a fund to provided housing and care for card artists who go mad after meticulous crafting and for viewers whose jaws are dislocated. Wow.
ReplyDeletehaahaahaa!! the little tiny dots were the hardest, I think my family is used to seeing me wander around muttering about glue and layouts etc! They usually just nod and smile and move away very slowly LOL!!
DeleteYes we do - Darnell - but then it runs in our family LOL!!
