Hi, I was inspired to make this card by the Hunger Games challenge, to use an arrow at CAS-ual Fridays.
I don't have any arrow stamps so I thought I'd convert this image from the Breath set by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. I hope I'm not stretching the imagination too far! The arrow tips are made with Memory Box Parker number dies, number 7 chopped off and thinned down.
I'm also entering the challenge at Addicted to CAS, where the code word is Take Flight. I think the sentiment is an inspiration to take flight too.
I used Versacolor and Versafine ink and clear embossed for some shine.
Thanks for visiting :)
Nice - love the arrows & the sentiment - Mxx
ReplyDeletebrilliant CAs card Cathy - you really are the queen of CAS xx
ReplyDeleteWow--genius way to form arrows. I was wondering what stamp set you used. Great movement and energy on this card.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous take on our challenge Cathy. The first thing that came to mind when I saw your card was the Red Arrows (except they're blue!) soaring into the sky - fabulous. Thanks so much for joining us for this challenge at A2CAS.

ReplyDeleteVery clever arrows!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you put your arrows together.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea...very ingenious!
ReplyDeleteYou are the second person I've seen take this stamp and do something very creative with it. You made it into arrows, but it also reminds me of the Blue Angels flying team, which indeed makes it perfect for the "Take flight" challenge.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully CAS! Love the colors; makes me think of Blue Angels soaring through the sky.
ReplyDeleteSo clever! Thank you for playing with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
