Spring orchids, a photo by cathroff on Flickr.
Hi, I managed to get another card made today despite the heat! A couple of challenges inspired me.
Addicted to Stamps and More is a new one for me. They've just re formatted their challenge into a range of themes over the weeks. This week its Make Your Mark, to use markers in your project. The only markers I have are tombows, apart from the kids old textas!!
Over at Simon Says Stamp the challenge is to make a project on the theme of Spring or Easter. The DT are using Memory Box products which I love!
I stamped and embossed this orchid branch onto normal cardstock and coloured with my tombows and a blender pen. Then I decided I wanted more dimension so I stamped and embossed on vellum for the top layer of blooms.
I was trying to keep it simple but with an oriental feel...the embossing folder is from the Asian design set I think.
Materials used: Memory Box orchid branch stamp; Provocraft embossing folder; Tombows & blender pen; bling and sentiment sticker from stash.
Thanks for looking :)
