Spring butterfly, a photo by cathroff on Flickr.
Hi, I seem to be stuck on the theme of butterflies lately!
I'm entering this card into the Hero Arts March contest. The theme is Hello Spring and the option of a colour challenge. Here are the details.
I'm also entering this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. Here is the sketch.

I embossed the sentiment to make it a bit darker and easier to read and also so it matched the shine of the butterfly.
Materials used: Antique engravings butterfly stamp; Memory Box Pristine Border die; Technique Tuesday sentiment stamp; cardstock & bling from stash.
Thanks for looking :)
Butterflies are my fav theme Cathy and your card is perfect. Love the colours and the pretty border you've used. Purple is also a colour many people don't get on well with but you've cracked it.
ReplyDeleteHave a good Saturday xx
Beautiful - that dramatic border punch is gorgeous and you've treated it perfectly as the focal point to this cas card! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CAS(E) This Sketch this week!
ReplyDeleteWOW. what a beautiful butterfly and border! Love the purple, too! TFS.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah - love purple - butterflies are your trademark for 2013 - almost as much as stars were in 2012!! Mxx
