Butterfly Birthday

Butterfly Birthday by cathroff
Butterfly Birthday, a photo by cathroff on Flickr.
Hi, managed to get into my craft room tonight to have a play with another card!

I need to get all of my scrap bits and pieces organized. At the moment they're in a few tubs, depending on size rather than colour! It's getting time consuming to sift through them all.

I used a little bit up with the butterfly dies for this card! I cut a white base and a purple and black top layer. It was fiddly but fun mixing up the little negative pieces and gluing them back in!

I'm entering this card into the Snippets Playground over at http://pixiescraftyworkshop.blogspot.com.au/

and also into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge where the theme is Anything Goes this week. Join in at http://www.simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com.au/

Materials used: Memory Box butterfly and flourish  dies; Spellbinders oval dies; sentiment sticker and bling from stash.

Thanks for looking :)

  1. What a gorgeous and striking looking card Cathy.

Think you might be too late for the Mini Eggs now! But I'm sure there'll be some cake at the back of the Snippet Playground treehouse at some point this week!

  3. Hi Cathy - wow, this really is lovely! The butterfly is breathtaking and all the other elements are so perfect.

I spotted your comment about not feeling you'd used enough snippets to join in the draw - just one ickle teensie snippet qualifies you chick!!We have few rools, in fact I think that's why the girls are currently building straw donkeys and such in the Playground :)

Of course, you just might not fancy trying/using the Stickeroos anyhow, but if you WOULD like to be included in the draw please just hop back and leave another comment saying yes please.

And once again, I love this card!!!

    Hugs, Di xx
