Hi everyone, it's been ages since I played with Lindy's Magicals.
This Whimsy stamp has been in my stash for a long time too and this is it's first outing.
I stamped the image in versamark and embossed with white fine detail powder. I sprinkled on some magicals in a few teal, blue and lime colours, spritzed on water and moved them a bit with a paintbrush.
Here's a closer look at the shimmer, (still a bit hard to see but so pretty IRL).
I diecut the sentiment from blue metallic card and layered it up for some dimension.
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Alphabet Challenge, E for embossing wet or dry
I've chosen wet embossing.
My fave tool is my misti, I had to stamp this background twice for good ink coverage, and there's no way I could have done that without it!
Whimsy Stamps seashell background stamp; Versamark ink & Wow fine detail white ep; Lindy's Magicals; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle die; Creative Expressions happy birthday die.
Thanks for visiting, and have a great week,
Cathy x

ReplyDeleteStunning work with magic powders and water!!! The colors fill the individual segments so beautifully and change intensity wonderfully. I love this card; it's like a vacation in the Maldives.
