Hi everyone, I made this card for a colleague who is unwell at the moment, a science teacher!
I hope this cheers him up a bit.
I've had this stamp & die set from MFT for years and this is it's first outing!
The same with the Spellbinders sentiment.
I used lots of leftover bits and scraps from other projects to diecut the colourful "elements".
The background was inked with tumbled glass oxide, spritzed with water then spattered with white gloss spray and diluted black gouache,
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Little Red Wagon, use that stash.
I've used neglected goodies and loads of scraps.
Waffle Flower A7 piercing layers die; MFT undeniable chemistry stamps & dies; Spellbinders Reaction stamp & die - only used one of the stamps; oxide ink; white gloss spray; black gouache; versafine ink & clear ep; Wow primary red robin ep; vellum and scraps from stash.
Thanks for visiting,
Have a great week, Cathy x
This is a perfect get well card for your science teacher colleague Cathy and love all the different science related objects you have included and the blue background which you spritzed and splatter looks great. x
ReplyDeleteThis card is so creative, Cathy, right from the tiniest schplatter to the fun punny sediment and "elements!" I know your friend will definitely be cheered and I hope he is better soon. Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

This is absolutely perfect for an ailing science teacher. I have a background in chemistry (and own that stamp LOL!) so this fabulous card immediately caught my eye. Love it...and hope your friend feels better soon.
