Hi everyone, it's been a busy few weeks but I'm glad to finally have some time in the craft room again!
This solid heart was die cut from an acrylic paint cling wrapped background. I then diecut a dazzling heart from heavy card and used it as a stencil with transparent texture paste. The trickiest part was lifting the stencil! Had to use tweezers and be careful not to touch any of the wet paste.
I'm linking up to a few challenges:
The Mixed Media Monthly Challenge has this gorgeous inspiration pic.
At Outside the Box the theme is hearts and remeber to use at least 1 Memory Box product.
At Simon Says Stamp Monday love is in the air.
At Simon Says Stamp Wednesday it must be love.
Work it Wednesday also has a love theme.
Supplies:
Memory Box Grand Heart and Dazzling Heart dies; Liquitex acrylic paint; Ranger transparent matte texture paste; We are Memory Keepers sentiment stamp; versafine ink & clear ep.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

What a great idea to use the transparent texture paste over the top of the this beautiful bright red heart Cathy and to make your own stencil from a die, also the bit of texture on the white card in the background is pretty too, and it all looks great on the black
