Butterfly on infusion tiles.

Hi everyone,
I've been playing with more infusions and of course more butterflies!

I pretty much did the same thing as I did with my leaves and autumn butterfly cards.
Spread texture paste through the stencil and while it was still wet sprinkled infusions powder onto it. Some of the colour spread but I wanted to colour the background as well so I spritzed it with water.

This technique is so much fun! The infusions are a bit like brushos but the walnut powder in them gives a totally different look.

The challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday is anything goes.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog

At Simon Says Stamp Monday it's powder powder - use embossing or pigment powder. I've used infusions powder.

Tim Holtz tiles layering stencil; texture paste; Paper Artsy Infusions powder; Hero Arts antique engraving butterfly; prismacolor pencils; Mama Elephant sentiment stamp; versafine ink & clear ep.

Just wanted to stop by and say that I stumbled across your blog a few weeks ago and LOVE your style. Beautiful card. Adore your colouring and tiled section. Do you print the butterflies? I've never been clear on that part?
Have a lovely weekend. X
