Plum Blossoms

Hi, this was another card that I managed to finish today.
I had stamped and embossed heaps of these flowers on vellum at my sister's place last visit.
I've been taking them to work to fussy cut during my lunch break. I painted them with plum blossom twinkling H2O's
The gold flourishes were diecut form scraps of gold metallic paper. I cut and repositioned them to suit the panel. So I'm off to the snippets playground again at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

At Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge the theme is anything goes with pearls.

Materials used: SU Flower shop stamp; Memory Box flourish die; twinkling H2Os; pearls and sentiment sticker from stash.

Thanks for visiting :)

What a lovely card. Twinkling H20s! I never hear anyone using them these days so how nice that you did. They provide such a nice sheen. I like the gold against the dark background and it goes well with your gold embossed flowers. Great card! I came over from Pixie's Crafty Playground.

Your vellum flowers are gorgeous and great idea to use the gold flourish that way. Looks so good with the gold detailing on the flowers!

Wonderful card!

I have embossing on vellum on my list of things to try!

Love the softness of the vellum flowers. I have trouble with coloring vellum as it always wants to come off ... so I'll have to try the Twinkling H2Os. Loll xx

Those vellum flowers look so pretty colored with the Twinkling H2O's. Thank you for reminding me of something else that I have and love and haven't used in too long!

Oh, those flowers! So beautiful. I remember Twinkling H2O's but never got any. Big mistake on my part!

I was at the Playground this afternoon and when I went past the merry-go-round, there was a whole gaggle of girls in a huddle, excited. It turned out they had all seen this card and were talking about how much they adored it! I missed you there so I came back here to see for myself. Sure enough, a STUNNING card again, Cathy!! Hugs, Darnell

A really lovely elegant card Cathy, and the H2O's work beautifully with these gorgeous flowers on vellum. Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog, I really appreciate it. It is so nice to have a visitor from Australia. Our son has been living there for several years now and we love it. x
