Water droplets

Water droplets by cathroff
Water droplets, a photo by cathroff on Flickr.
Hi, I've inked up another stamp that I've had for a while and haven't used yet!

I'm entering this card into this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp & Show   where the theme is water.

My card layers are leftovers, so I'm also entering the snippets playground over at Pixie's Crafty Workshop

Materials used: droplet stamp by Ryn Tanaka; sentiment stamp by Kaisercraft; Distress inks; Glossy accents.

Thanks for looking :)

  9. Hello - did you stamp the droplets and then colour? Or did you do the background and stamp on top of the colour? They look fabulous... Mxx

  10. Hi Mo! I stamped in versafine ink, embossed with clear ep, then coloured with distress inks and blending tool. Then I added the glossy accents to the droplets. Fun process :)

  13. That is a stunning card, so stylish. In answer to your query, the Splodge Away mat is a fairly new piece of kit, but has already won awards for the best new crafting aid. If you want to get one, just follow my link to their web site where there are tutorials to watch. there are a number of copy cat mats, but the original is the best and will give you the best results. I am sure it will be available to buy over there soon if not already. Have a good week. xx Maggie
